SEA LIFE Trust
The SEA LIFE Trust is a registered charity dedicated to protecting our oceans and marine life, all around the world. Our seas and oceans are full of an incredibly diverse and amazing range of creatures, from aquatic mammals and fish to molluscs, jellyfish and birds.
Working with a huge number of local projects globally, the SEA LIFE Trust takes practical action to improve ocean environments and safeguard marine wildlife and the places they live. They also champion change, working on conservation campaigns across the world.
Just two of the charity’s amazing projects include the building of a sanctuary for beluga whales (the first in the world) and the running of a seal sanctuary in Cornwall, UK.

Proud Partnership
We are proud to announce our new partnership with the SEA LIFE Trust, a global charity dedicated to protecting the world’s oceans and the marine life that lives in them.
The partnership will see us donate 100% of profits from the sale of our new eco swimwear range, Black Pack, to the SEA LIFE Trust, to help fund the many projects and campaigns they run globally to reduce ocean plastic.

Plastic pollution is a global issue
Every piece of plastic that has ever been made still exists in some form, with 8 million tonnes of plastic ending up in the ocean every year. If that wasn’t enough, much of the ocean plastic that breaks down into smaller microplastics ends up in our food chain.
The Black Pack range is a taste of what’s to come from MARU moving forward, with each swimsuit being manufactured out of ECONYL®, a fibre made of 100% regenerated nylon fibre from pre and post-consumer waste, including ghost fishing nets, nylon scraps and carpet fluff found in our oceans.
